The course is primarily experiential. Each evening session will include seated guided mindfulness practices as well as some theory, inquiry and a chance to share and reflect on your own experiencewithin a small, supportive and friendly group setting . You are invited to immerse yourself as best as you can in this process. This also means that you are encouraged to try and practice at home and participants will receive guided exercises to support their home practice.
This course is suitable for people who are new to mindfulness as well as for those who would like to deepen their meditation or mindfulness practice.
Mindfulness is a way of coming back to ourselves. It allows us to learn to experience the present moment in it's fullness. The aim of the programme is to learn new ways of being with our moods, emotions, thought's and sensations through creating states of wellbeing that are lasting & reliable.
Mindfulness can bring simplicity, peace & joy to the individual, to our lives, to the small things and challenges we may face. Life becomes more significant and authentic and we begin to live our moments as if they really matter.
If you would like to discuss what would work best for you at this time please contact me.
Could you get help from your employer to attend? I am aware that some employers will release people from work to attend an MBLC course and in some cases will pay for them. If you wish to approach your employer for time off or for funding, I will be happy to provide a letter to verify your course arrangements and attendance. I suggest that organisations who wish to arrange places for clients or staff contact me directly [email protected] or by phone 07902718957
